Quality Hearing was opened in Mt Waverley in 2002 by Carolyn Sigmont and Lesley Langdon. Since then, Quality Hearing has gained an enviable reputation as a client focused and ethical practice, and has earned the respect of the local community and allied professionals.

Our clinicians, Carolyn Sigmont, Lesley Langdon and Jacinta Bowen have worked extensively in the public and private sectors and have a combined work experience of over 90 years.
Carolyn and Lesley see their roles primarily as clinicians. In an increasingly aggressive profit driven industry, with retail outlets often owned by large international companies, Quality Hearing remains an independent, private, friendly, community focused business, which puts the hearing needs of its clients foremost. We work with your medical providers to ensure that all of your needs are addressed.
Carolyn Sigmont commenced working as an audiologist with the Australian Department of Health, specializing in both pediatric and adult case work. She later worked in a hospital setting before working in private practice.
Lesley Langdon commenced working as an audiometrist with the Australian Department of Health, and later worked for the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, before working in private practice.
Jacinta has been an audiologist for over 30 years. She has extensive experience in assessing adults and children as well as fitting state of the art digital hearing aid technology. Jacinta has been the President of a professional association for audiologists within the Government Service and in 2002 was awarded an Australian Hearing Australia Day award for professionalism to clients.
Rosemary has a personal assistant background and has worked in a number of different organisations prior to joining the hearing industry in 2001.
She has been the clinic administrator for Quality Hearing since 2010. She loves “fixing” people’s hearing aids, and enjoys the interaction with all of her clients.
We’re Here for You
While Quality Hearing is centrally located and easily accessible, home visits are arranged for clients unable to travel.
Our office hours are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday, or as privately arranged.
